Philips DC315/37 Speaker

Philips DC315/37 Speaker System for iPod/iPhone with LED Clock Radio (Black)

I bought this machine as a substitute for Philips DC320 I brought home from the local Best Buy and return within a week. (You can find a lot of fun, what about the best sites to buy) DC315 overcome the failure of the agency giving the impression that this is not filled the room with light. In fact, the display is quite nice with good color and letter of interest.

It is still unclear. In fact, the entire unit is very attractive with a glossy black face and design patterns that mimic and blend well with the iPhone, just watch it. It does not take a lot of real estate. The large face has a huge impact yet. The display has three brightness settings, with a good range. It does not automatically adjust for ambient light. Fortunately, the brightness is not acceptable not to sleep in a dark room and the middle one is still clearly visible in daylight.

As for other features I like is ascending in the wake of the sweetest I've ever had. The sound is quite good in general, with a certain amount of low and a good balance. However, it sounds better than a clock radio, in general, is not quite as good as the DC320 in terms of detail and stereo imaging. I can play louder than the bass does not distort the DC320. There are some other issues, a segment of the secondary display below the clock does not work. Fortunately, it can be used to display the radio frequency waves, and I can live with not bother to mail order list. (A Philips are similar,

I read a reference to show similar results - that is interesting), as well as the slider is attached and feel more like a button to reset the alarm. For the next day which is a risk when you're half asleep and trying to get another nine minutes in the morning. I may have to modify in any button, so it feels different. It requires a good deal of strength to iPhone in the dock on the right to payment.

Unfortunately, the physical design of entry into force to allow the entire unit to tip forward. Stabilize with your other one on top of the unit, always result in undesirable be pushed a little 'behind the iPhone (or iPod) on and off to the right and to support their opinions. Success with personal information that you are using. Unfortunately for the moment the plastic knob on the back, which is very loose and not in a position in which it is inserted.

It does not appear that the unit has a battery backup for power failure. But I have not tested this reality. Finally, and perhaps worse, only to wake up for half an hour, including dozing! If you press Snooze, more than three times, then 3 minutes for the duration of the last alarm went off without warning, leaving to sleep. Honestly, I do not know that the engineers of Philips in the project was never used an alarm clock.

So this is certainly not perfect, this eccentric and designed to look like the nature of Philips Electronics. The feature-rich products may be a better design and very similar in price. But a very good, especially compared to other iDocks is used as an alarm clock and the sound quality is pretty good. So I guess I'll keep this one.
